Drugs4Real is a free, online, evidence-based alcohol and drug abuse education and prevention program for teens.

Adolescents will learn how to make smart choices about:

Drugs, including prescription drugs

Health teachers, school psychologists, guidance counselors, community leaders or parents can use the online program to teach adolescents about risks associated with drug use and build commitment to avoid abusing drugs.

What does the research show?

In a randomized controlled trial funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, teens who used Drugs4Real reported significantly:

Higher knowledge about the effects of alcohol and other drugs
Greater intention to not use alcohol, cigarettes, or marijuana
Higher media knowledge

In Addition:

90% of teens who used Drugs4Real said it would be useful for other students
100% of teachers surveyed said they were very satisfied with the Drugs4Real program
